Nope. Don’t Just Do It.
A real coach, in your actual messages, who learns your schedule and your excuses and keeps showing up anyway. No app to download. No streaks to break. Nobody’s face on a leaderboard.

Why call it
?
Nope might seem like a strange name for a fitness brand, especially when you’re used to fitness language that tells you to try harder, push through the pain and get your butt to the gym. At Nope we believe that all “excuses” aren’t created equal and telling someone to “just do it” isn’t always helpful. Being lazy isn’t the same as dealing with a major life transition, traveling for work or navigating a stressful season in your life. What we’ve found is that by giving people permission to say “nope” to fitness extremes, they often find fitness for themselves, enjoy exercise more, and get better results.
Nope. The best version of you isn’t someone else.
At Nope Fitness we believe that the best version of you is actually, well… you - not someone else. And yet, so many people today feel the pressure to stick to a fitness plan that isn’t really… them. You know - those all-or-nothing fitness plans that require you to give up the things you love, like a delicious dessert (looking at you tiramisu!) or having a drink when you’re watching the big game? Those plans that tell you if you just go to the gym every day for two hours, you’ll get the results you’re looking for (and who’s got time for that by the way?). And then, when life inevitably gets busy and you can’t stick to the plan… there’s no flexibility? So your only option is to tell yourself to suck it up, try harder and white knuckle it even more. And all of that just leaves you exhausted, feeling like a failure, and worst of all feeling like fitness must not be for you. Well, we say “nope” to all of that, because we believe fitness is for you.
At Nope Fitness we empower you to embrace fitness you actually enjoy without sacrificing the things you care about most (your family, career and passions). By giving you permission to say “nope” to fitness extremes that leave you burned out, you’ll experience a kind of fitness that makes your life better not worse. And best of all, we connect you with a kind, empathetic and encouraging coach who’s with you the whole way. And because your coach is a human, not an app, you can literally call them up when you need them (because, get this, you’ll have their phone number).

How it works
Start with a conversation
The first step for everyone is to connect with one of our coaches on a free fifteen minute coaching call. In just fifteen minutes, you’ll leave with clarity on how to begin, where you’re headed and how to get there. And if Nope Fitness isn’t right for you, he’ll let you know and point you in the direction that is right for you.

Meet Coach Trevor
As a fitness coach, Trevor St. John-Gilbert has personally coached more than two hundred individuals, including an 88-person corporate wellness program whose results were reviewed by an independent physician. In addition to his experience as a fitness coach, Trevor spent fifteen years as a professional actor in New York City, where he became known as the Broadway Fitness Coach, helping New Yorkers stay strong and healthy while they navigate late nights, unpredictable schedules, and grabbing food on the go.
Are you just another fitness app?
Despite having access to an endless library of fitness apps, online workout videos and nutrition advice, living a lifestyle of fitness can still feel impossible. Because having information about how to get fit is very different from actually getting in shape. And talking yourself into doing the thing you already know you should do is often the hardest part. That’s why the foundation of Nope Fitness is built on a personal relationship with your very own fitness coach to hold you accountable, help you implement your plan and navigate what fitness looks like for you.
Research shows as little as 3% of app-based wellness users remain active after 30 days.
Over 70% of Nope’s initial enrollees were still active with the program after 90 days.

Questions people ask
Nope. We’ve found that a strong relational connection with a personal coach gets our members better results than an app. That’s why we connect you with your own personal coach who connects with you daily via text messages, voice notes and calls.
Same day, Monday through Friday.
We go over pricing on the call, once Trevor knows what you’re working toward. There’s no contract and you can cancel whenever you want.
Nope, but a heads up that most people need at least three months to reach their initial goal.
Yup! And it’s a growing part of what we do. Keeping weight off after medication comes down to building habits, strength, and embracing a sustainable lifestyle of fitness. Our coaches aren’t doctors and don’t prescribe, adjust, or manage medication. If we feel something needs your physician’s attention we’ll encourage you to reach out.
It depends on what you’re after. If you want to build muscle you’ll need to incorporate some kind of resistance training, even if that’s bands or bodyweight exercises. Otherwise, nope. We’ll build your plan based on whatever you’ve got to work with.
